Celebrating Older Americans Month

May is Older Americans Month [1] – a tradition dating back to 1963 to honor the legacies and ongoing contributions of older Americans and support them as they enter the next stage in life.

On Wednesday, 5/13 we’re proud to host the opening of the Older Adults Month Art Exhibit [2], which celebrates work by seniors participating in our Weinberg Center [3] and other Educational Alliance senior center [4] art programs. Special highlights include the Moving Stories [5] project with Artist-in-Residence Laura Nova, featured in the Jewish Communal Fund Gallery.

Additionally, anyone 60+ is invited to join in this month-long roster of Educational Alliance activities [6] in celebration of Older Americans Month. Contact the Weinberg Center at 646.395.4270 for information.
