A special kind of magic happens when you bring stories to life through art. In this 5 or 10-week course, students learn the basics of telling their stories through narrative art. Using on-the-fold pop-up structures and then progressing through a series of more surprising three-dimensional constructions, students will develop their own artistic style and create pop-up books using mixed media. Through creative exercises and independent exploration, youth will create one hand-bound book in each session.
