Civic Education & Advocacy

Democracy only works if we participate, which starts by understanding the issues we face as a community, as a city, and as a nation. This fall, we are launching a series called “Why We Vote” in partnership with America 101 Project and Grand Street Dems to take issues we hear about in the news and learn about them from a variety of angles and contexts, so we can best understand why we need to be engaged, and what actions we can take to create the future we want to see.
